The Zoom range is from wide-angle to short telephoto by turning the zoom control and will give you very good results with portraits and landscapes. It has Autofocus for ease of use. It is sharp and contrasty and suited to full-frame Film and Digital Cameras with inbuilt auto focusing. It is a great size and weight for someone trekking. It has a metal bayonet mount so it is built to be worked. It has an Aspherical glass element. The nine aperture blades provide very pleasant Bokeh when used in a limited depth of field situations.
