The Laowa Nanomorph 35mm T2.4 1.5X S35 Anamorphic Lens – Fuji X Mount (Amber) is a slender, compact anamorphic lens that captures high-definition video with 1.5x anamorphic squeeze on cameras with S35 sensors. It features a focal length of 35mm, a Fuji X lens mount, an aperture range of T2.4 to T22 for a deep depth of field, and 13 iris blades for a shallow depth of field and soft bokeh.
The prime lens has a very short minimum focus distance of 23.6″ and offers anamorphic qualities such as high contrast, amber color lens flares, and a 57.5° horizontal field of view. Other features include measurement markings in feet and meters, 0.8 MOD cine gears on focus and aperture rings, and a 55mm front filter thread. The Fuji X lens mount is interchangeable and can be swapped out for an optional mount.

Constant 1.5x Squeeze Ratio
A 1.5x squeeze ratio is a perfect balance between the size and anamorphic intensity. With a 1.5x squeeze ratio, you will have a 2.66:1 on a 16:9 sensor after de-squeeze. There is also room for you to crop into a 2.4:1 widescreen ratio.
Artistic Oval Bokeh
A 1.5x squeeze ratio also renders oval bokeh that gives an artistic touch to the image. It also creates a blurry and creamy background that pops out the subject.
Amber Anamorphic Flare Color
Amber flares are good for narrative and warm vibes and are less common among cine lenses.
Short Focus Distance
The 23.6″ close focus distance is short so users can create closer shots. It renders a shallower depth of field, so the sense of compression will be stronger and the bokeh will be more oval-shaped.
