The 3 Legged Thing – Legends MIKE Tripod Kit consists of the Mike carbon fiber tripod legs and AirHed Cine-V Fluid Head, which is equipped with a Manfrotto 501-Style Compatible Sliding Baseplate.
This combination allows you to quickly compensate for uneven surfaces using the tripod leg leveling base. The system features two spirit levels and the flat base of the AirHed means that when mounted on other platforms, such as sliders and car mounts, the fluid hedge sits lower than if it were a fluid hedge with a cup base.

On The Level
Mike’s easy-to-adjust levelling base system enables smooth fast set-ups, and the built-in bubble level ensures perfect positioning.
Versatile & Modular
With 3 detachable legs which can be used as monopods or boom arms, Mike’s levelling base can be converted to a table top / low-level tripod, or a foot stabiliser for the monopod, by adding 3LT footwear (sold separately).
Chicken Lips
The 3 Legged Thing Legends Mike Tripod and AirHed Cine Arca Swiss has been engineered with a style of Chicken Lips (shims) that give the leg locks greater strength, grip and formidable anti-rotation.
Rapid Latch
The new Rapid-Latch angle adjustment was designed to be easy to adjust, even for those with impairments, or wearing thick gloves.
O-Pads
Our new raised O-Pads with Bubble Grip texture provide better grip, torque and water dispersement than any other leg lock on the planet.
A Range of Footwear
Mike has detachable rubber Bootz which can be replaced with any of our foot accessories, for maximum stability on any terrain, including our DOCZ foot stabiliser.
